Certified instructor and Wave Pilates co-owner, Katie Zell has been practicing and teaching pilates for
over 12 years. Having graduated with a degree in Education, Katie always knew that teaching was her
passion, but quickly realized after moving from Texas to Tampa that Pilates was where her heart is. “I love challenging my clients with a method that includes thinking outside of the box. Life is too short to not have fun, even if you’re working out!”
Summer has always enjoyed movement and and exercise. She started taking Pilates classes in 2006 per doctor's orders after a back injury. She quickly realized that Pilates was the perfect method to stretch, strengthen and tone her body while relieving back pain. Summer opened Wave Pilates in 2008 with her business partner Katie.
She has been teaching Pilates for 10 years and remains passionate and enthusiastic while helping her clients achieve their goals.
In her free time she loves to travel and spend time with her husband and two children.
Elizabeth was first introduced to Pilates ten years ago through her dance background. As she continued her practice with a few different trainers, she quickly became interested in learning more and becoming a certified trainer. In becoming Balanced Body certified, she has been amazed at the benefits of Pilates, with clients ranging from athletes to rehabilitation patients. Pilates has brought strength, control and a new found balance to not only her body but the way she approaches her daily life.
