Summer Grow

Summer has always enjoyed movement and and exercise. She started taking Pilates classes in 2006 per doctor's orders after a back injury. She quickly realized that Pilates was the perfect method to stretch, strengthen and tone her body while relieving back pain. Summer opened Wave Pilates in 2008 with her business partner Katie.

She has been teaching Pilates for 10 years and remains passionate and enthusiastic while helping her clients achieve their goals.

In her free time she loves to travel and spend time with her husband and two children.

Samantha Datz

Samantha graduated from the University of Tampa with a B.S. in Exercise Science and Sports Studies. She is a fitness expert, with a passion for motivating and inspiring others.

Samantha has been teaching Pilates for over 10+ years and is a Lead Teacher Trainer at New York City’s world-renowned center for Pilates, Alycea Ungaro’s Real Pilates Studio in NYC. She has trained top professional athletes as well as countless celebrity clientele, and has a Classical Pilates background.

She has appeared on various media outlets; showcased in South Tampa Magazine’s “The Best of Fitness Instructors”, contributed to Shape.com and Market Watch, and served as Lifestyle & Fitness Expert brand spokesperson featured training co-hosts Jerry Penacoli & Cyndi Edwards of the nationally syndicated WFLA Daytime television show, as well as ABC Suncoast View.

Samantha believes living a healthy lifestyle begins with maintaining a strong and fit body. Her aim is to identify your goals, design an exercise program tailored to your needs for a highly personalized, highly effective workout.

Stephanie Cardone

Stephanie discovered Pilates while living in Las Vegas. She grew up doing gymnastics, dance, ballet and cheerleading and had always enjoyed being active and working out. Pilates quickly became her new favorite form of exercise. The slow, articulate movements are what drew her in, and she loved how she felt physically and mentally. She soon decided to pursue Pilates as a professional career and gained her certification through Balance Body. She is certified with mat, reformer, chair, barrel and the trapeze table. She has a wide range of clients all ages, professional athletes, clients with an injury or pregnancy, etc. She is able to create a specific workout catered to her client’s needs that is challenging but also safe. She is enthusiastic about helping others achieve the same mind and body connection!

Nicole Miller

Nicole is a fun and caring fitness instructor who also loves to dance and perform.  Hailing from the Philadelphia tri state area, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Dance Performance from Slippery Rock University.  Nicole then went on to perform with different contemporary dance companies while also teaching dance to the next generation.  She had an amazing opportunity to tour with the USO to support the troops performing with Sesame Street Live.  After teaching and performing Nicole had a brief stint in Michigan then came to the Tampa Bay Area and immediately was connected with her passion for fitness. Now continuing her education to become a fully certified Stott pilates.  She is also a certified BarreAbove instructor, AFAA group fitness, and ACE personal trainer.  Nicole helps her clients find their best, confident self by focusing on their goals in a detailed oriented way.  She hopes to inspire everyone she meets while also putting a smile on their face!
